The whole of my life, I have been met regularly by cold indifference. Those years have been peppered by kindness and love, and certainly the love of my close family has been invaluable, but human nature has always eluded me and left me constantly confused. A strong Christian faith and the love of God has carried me through a perpetual landscape of human detachment, and it has proved to me that I am resilient. It is this resilience that gives me the need to write honest lyrics.
My name is Climate Change but I’m not about the physical environment; the name was chosen because of the emotional environment I, and I believe many other people, have to live in. My real name is Jo McAlpine, and I’m a singer/songwriter and keyboardist and I produce my own music.
